Actors Theater of Orcas Island presents "Listening Glass"
Mark your calendars for this unusual play at the Orcas Island Grange. When you arrive at the Grange, you will step into the Maricopo County Major Crimes Unit precinct building. What starts out as a tour of the facility soon puts the audience right into the middle of murder investigation.
A few weeks ago, Jonathan Wutrz was brutally murdered and the police still don't have a viable suspect. Before the play begins, the audience will be able to review video's of people who may have knowledge of Jonathan's death as well as reports and information collected during the investigation. In fact two co-workers of Jonathan are scheduled to be interviewed by police during the play. Will the police find their murderer? Show up and find out.
While "Listening Glass" had a production in Seattle in 2015, this will be the world premier fully staged production. Aaimee Johnson leads an all star cast as Jamie Bennett, the dish washer at Stedman's Diner, Freddy Hinkle as Detective Knapp, Lisa Spesard as Officer Grant and Lin McNulty as Annette Dawson, the receptionist at the precinct. A number of new actors will be seen and heard in recorded roles.
There will be seven performances of this play at the Grange opening on Friday, September 2nd and running until Sunday, September 18th.
