This is a community outreach event for the Spokane County Sheriff's K9 Unit. It is an opportunity for the community to get to know and support the dogs and handlers, and see them demonstrate the skills that they use each day to keep our community safe. The funds raised at this event will be donated directly to the Unit to purchase necessary and/or unexpected items which are not included in the annual budget for the program.
There will also be an easy two mile walk for the family to enjoy around Mirabeau Park, games and fun for the whole family, a BBQ for all to enjoy, and plenty of raffle and silent auction items to bid on.
