Day of the Girl Luncheon to benefit Powerful Voices

October 11, 2012 has been declared the International Day of the Girl. This is an opportunity to celebrate, honor, acknowledge, and advance girls everywhere. People all around the world are coming together to both recognize the role of oppression and take a stand against its influence on our own lives and communities.

Please join us for the Day of the Girl Luncheon to benefit Powerful Voices, a not-for-profit organization formed to empower girls to advocate for justice and equity.

Lunch and program begin at noon

The program will feature girls and alumnae of Powerful Voices. Hosted by Mistress of Ceremonies Felicia Guity, General Manager of Channel Marketing and General Incentives Management for Microsoft, named as one of Ebony Magazine's "Outstanding Women in Marketing and Communications."

Tickets to this event are complimentary. Guests will be asked to make a personally meaningful gift to support Powerful Voices. Funds raised at this event are our most flexible dollars and pay for key activities such as our Girlvolution Conference.
