Gowanus All-Stars House Concert:
Roots Hoot House Concerts welcomes all-star band The Gowanus All-Stars on Saturday, October 15. Comprised of 6 veterans of NYC's Alt Country/Americana/Roots-Rock scene and brought together by singer Spike Priggen (who played Roots Hoot way back in 2005 as a solo artist), The Gowanus All-Stars put their own spin on songs made famous by Johnny Cash, Gary Stewart, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Lee Hazlewood, Lucinda Williams, Roky Erikson, The Ramones, Johnny Thunders & many more. Something tells us this is going to be big fun. Doors will open at 7:00 pm and music starts at 7:30 pm. It is BYOB and possibly a "lite bite" potluck. News on the latter forthcoming.
