Six well-known and award-winning Sonoma County poets will read from and talk about their poetry in a lovely home in Wild Oak. Sandra Anfang, published in numerous journals including San Francisco Peace and Hope, Tower Journal, Unbroken, and Spillway, published 2016 chapbook Looking Glass Heart; J.R. Brady, prize winning playwright and poet, works published in the U.S., U.K. and Europe, books including The Space Between and Persona; Donna Emerson, published in Paterson Literary Review, Clare, Broad River Review, the Chaffin, awards including Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award, nominations for a Pushcart and Best of the Net; Marvin Hiemstra, poet, humorist, editor, and green man shaman, performed and published worldwide, works include French Kiss Destiny, Poet Wrangler: Droll Poems, and Sudden Sunrise; Marianne Lyon, taught music for 39 years, published in numerous literary magazines, journals and reviews, member of the Healdsburg Literary Guild; and Russ Messing, two published books of haiku, one haiku a day for different years, and two books of poetry, A Convergence of Unanticipated Consequences and Midnights Breathing.
