When teenager Ren McCormack and his family move from Chicago to a small Midwestern town, Ren finds he's living in a place where rock music and dancing are banned. Its a lively, rollicking ride as Ren and his new classmates get the minister behind the ban to finally relent so the kids can have a senior prom.
