Totally Thames: Vauxhall Foreshore Archaeological Walk
The unique Vauxhall foreshore has produced evidence from the earliest prehistoric periods post-Ice Age right through to the arrival of the Romans. This evidence is under threat from modern structures as well as natural excavation by the Thames itself.
Come for a morning stroll with Dr Fiona Haughey and Mike Webber to explore this varied prehistoric presence on the southern bank of the Thames while it is still visible.
Please ensure you wear sensible foot wear as the foreshore is an uneven and sometimes muddy surface. This event is for over 16s. Access to the foreshore is by stairs only.
