Parents Night / The Bigger Issue
October 20 - November 19, 2016
Back to school.

These two one-act plays take place in school classrooms one grade three and the other grade seven. In Parents Night two parents become more and more like children, to the point where the teacher must treat them like unruly students. The Bigger Issue brings up confrontations that are both economic and educational and explores the differences between the haves and have-nots that transcend the classroom.
Funny, touching and truthful plays for anyone who's ever been a teacher...Or had a teacher...Or had a parent....

Old Love
January 19 - February 18, 2017
Perfect for Valentine's Day!

Old Love is a romantic comedy spanning 3 decades. Bud Mitchell is divorced and Molly Graham is newly widowed, and they meet again after 30 years at Molly's husband's funeral. Molly doesn't remember Bud, but he definitely remembers her! It's a story of romance, courtship and relationships between older adults. Norm Foster's play will have you believing that we're never too old for love!

The Grandkid
April 20 - May 20, 2017

Jacob Rothstein, a widowed professor in his 60s, finds his calm routine interrupted by the arrival of a new roommate: his 19-year-old granddaughter, who has enrolled at the university where he teaches. Starting from their unique connection as soul mates, they bridge the generation gap with wisdom, wit and warmth to negotiate a new relationship that must deal with three tricky topics: sex, politics and religion. A comedy for boomers, teenagers, and everyone in-between.
The Grandkid will be Langley Players' entry into the 2017 Fraser Valley Zone Festival.
Please Note: You must still make a reservation for the performance date of your choosing.
All tickets are nonrefundable.
