MAMA THREW ME SO HIGH and SHE WHO SPEAKS are two one act plays about family, resilience, and redemption.
In MAMA THREW ME SO HIGH, Rose and Amaryllis are two young sisters who have been carried from place to place like wildflower seeds on the breeze. When they meet their Uncle Paul, Amaryllis hopes he will be able to give them a home to grow roots, but Rose fears the winds of change will continue to blow them from place to place.
In SHE WHO SPEAKS Alvera makes a phone call that changes her life forever. She is afraid her words are responsible for her mother being taken away. Alvera traps herself in a world of silence until Granny gives her the courage to find her voice.
