Want to explore the fabulous world of burlesque further, have fun and learn some exciting new skills? The House of Burlesque intermediate course picks up where our beginners course finishes, and gives you even more ways to increase your confidence, move like a burlesque star and learn new burlesque skills and techniques.
In this two week intensive, you will study the use of classic burlesque props such as boas and fans, look at floor work, learn more advanced striptease techniques, develop your own persona and explore character in burlesque. We will teach you tips to help you really connect with your audience and help you with on stage acting and musicality. This course is suitable for anyone who has completed the House of Burlesque beginners course, or other beginners burlesque classes or workshops.
25th Sept: Taught by Showgirl Super Star Bettsie BonBon - Character and sass in striptease, advanced striptease techniques and stocking peels, how to use a boa as a prop and touch on some key elements of floor work and how best to incorporate them into act.
2nd Oct: Taught by HOB Director Tempest Rose - Acting, Comedy and Confidence. How you can really connect with your audience, using your face and body to tell a story in either classic or comedic burlesque, keeping an audience entertained and developing your confidence.
Each session can be booked as a one off at £60 each, or get a £20 discount to attend both for £100.
The intensive course is designed to be compatible with starting the Performance Course on the 4th October if desired.
