Insights for a Healthy Pregnancy and Birth
The 40 weeks of pregnancy are a very meaningful and dynamic time for women. Much has been written about the physical and hormonal changes that happen in every week of the pregnancy. In this talk Liat Hod, L.Ac, will focus on the emotional aspect of this wonderful period. She will show that emotions are effecting our physical body and at the same time, emotions are effected by the many physical changes that happen to a woman during pregnancy. Liat will provide a few tools that will contribute to the emotional and physical well-being of the mother and baby, such as balanced diet and will demonstrate a simple method that will help to reduce stress.
Liat Hod, L.Ac, graduated with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist in California. Liat continued to a summer semester in an integrative hospital in China. She treats a wide range of conditions related to women- anxiety and depression, digestive problems, insomnia, stress, prenatal symptoms and postpartum recovery. She currently works in Dr. Ching Chis clinic in Sunnyvale.
