Full Moon Story Slam at The Actors Studio of Newburyport
Theme: Phobias
The Story Slam is our chance to gather friends and share true stories from our lives. Simply put, a story slam is a competition based on the art of storytelling. It puts a dual emphasis on content and performance, encouraging storytellers to focus on what they're saying and how they're saying it. It is an exercise in crafting stories within a set time limit and it is great entertainment! Story slammers sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute short story on the evenings theme. There are opportunities for one-minute stories too!
