Pirates of the Mary Anne
Join us on Saturday, July 16 at 6 pm as the Plaza Playhouse Theater Drama Camp presents "Pirates of the Mary Anne" (or "A Lass and a Treasured Trust") by James Hudson and under the direction of Asa Olsson and Hanne Pitcock.
Filled with music, laughter and intrigue, this musical melodrama takes place on the deck of the Mary Anne and has ghosts, pirates and a villain that receives his just deserts in the end.
An orphaned lass finds love and treasure in this ghostly tale of intrigue and laughs. The unrepentant pirate becomes trapped in his/her own web of lies and deceit. A father's love reaches out from the grave to protect and provide for his daughter.
Tickets are $5.00 general admission and available online, at Seastrand (919 Linden Ave., by cash or check only) and at the theater box office prior to showtime.
