NINA BALATKA @ InterACTivity 2016
A Stage Adaptation of Anthony Trollope's novel Written and Directed by Henry Ong Based on Anthony Trollope's Victorian novel, Nina Balatka tells the story of a poor, beautiful Christian maiden, who falls in love with a Jewish businessman, Anton Trendellsohn. Their betrothal--an uncommon occurrence in 19th century Prague--incurs the ire of their respective families. A second conflict centers on Antons ownership of the house where Nina lives with her ill father and whether Nina is in possession of the deed.
