Planning Anything
Whatever you aim to do, you have to start somewhere. There's no need to dread planning, or to be rigidly bound by it. But it can make you five times more likely to make your dreams come true, and a flexible approach to building and implementing a plan is not only possible for the creative mind -- it's essential.
This fun, interactive workshop will teach a variety of easy techniques that can transform the way you think about your projects. More important, you'll go home with a much better chance of making them work. You'll learn how to lay out specific goals and timelines, with neatly identified steps, many of which can change as life gets in the way (as it tends to do!). Be ready, be clear, and then be flexible. You'll get further down the road the more you learn and embrace these skills, and they can help you in every new future project. What are you waiting for?
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Lauri D. Goldenhersh has been a "planning savant" since childhood, with listmaking starting about five minutes after she learned to write her first words. Creating and running arts-related events and programs since the mid-1980s, her experience as concert presenter, arts publicist, entertainer and the founder of LaurisList.com has built a broad expertise that now helps independent artists achieve their own goals. With two decades' experience as an educator, this dynamic instructor now teaches unusual planning and visualization techniques to a wide variety of individuals as well as representatives for Southern California arts organizations. "We can change the world, one list at a time."
