The Witches
This year we celebrate 100 years since the birth of one of Britain's most wonderful storytellers, Roald Dahl. He has written numerous childrens books, and created unforgettable characters which have captured the imaginations of thousands. In honour of his "gloriumptious" work, the LIII girls are proud to present their interpretation of one of Dahl's scariest books, 'The Witches'.
The Grand High Witch and her motley clique want to wipe out all children "like weasels" but can one brave boy and his cunning grandmother's plan to exterminate them all come to life?
We promise magic, squeaks, laughter and the faint aroma of children!
Do you dare to risk being sniffed out by a witch? Performances suitable for 7 years and over.
'The Witches' is written by Roald Dahl, adapted by David Wood and the incidental music is composed by Peter Pontzen.
