Urban Stories Theatre 5th Anniversary Frolic in the Forest Party

Urban Stories Theatre is turning 5 this summer and Knox Theatre Collective is turning 10!! And we've been busy! We have produced 8 new main stage plays and 5 Just Acts Play Festivals co-produced with Knox Theatre Collective. That's over 12 new plays by local playwrights!

The Calgary Arts Scene has been so welcoming to our theatre company that we want to celebrate! We will be throwing a party on Friday, July 22, 2016 and everyone's invited.

At the event we will be showcasing local artists, bands and performance groups to demonstrate their talents and much more!

There will be door prizes, a $100 or less Art sale, raffle draws, a cash bar, music and dancing. Calgary has a lot to offer so join us and let's make this the party of the summer!

About UST:

Our focus at Urban Stories Theatre is to support local playwrights by nurturing their ideas from first draft to finished production. The company is made up of a core group of local artists who will oversee all productions and workshops. Budding actors, directors, stage managers and designers will be encouraged to share their ideas by becoming part of the team on a show by show basis.

Vision:

To give local artists a voice in creating theatre that tells real stories about real life.
