July Summer Inquiry Institute 2016
This three day institute runs 9:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. daily from Tuesday, July 26th through Thursday, July 28th. Breakfast, coffee, and light snacks will be provided, with a 1 hour lunch break on your own.
Using hands-on experiences and reflection, the Summer Inquiry Institute will give teachers a foundation in science inquiry. Participants will examine different approaches to hands-on learning, explore NGSS practices, engage in a full scientific inquiry, and consider ways to include inquiry in their own classrooms. This workshop is based upon the Fundamentals of Inquiry professional development program developed by the Exploratorium, and incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards.
This is a three day program which requires registering to reserve your spot- space is limited!
