Pride is that time of the year when we all want to connect for fun and frolic with friends, and lovers - to enjoy being who we are. We, Singles, feel the sweet hope and hunger to love and be loved. Most of us wish to have a special someone or few, to enjoy Pride with.

But tired of online dating? Looking for other ways to find connections that can be deep and meaningful? Bar and dancing scene too over whelming? Want to start slow and get to know people? Not sure about dating but want to connect with kindred spirits and see what happens? You are invited to an easy, fun, simple yet meaningful speed connect event for women looking for authentic connections with other women, be it for long term partnership, casual affairs or deep friendships leading to who knows what!

= EVENT DETAILS =

7:00 - 7:15 Meet & Greet
7:15 - 7:30 Opening Circle
7:30 - 9:30 Speed Meet
9:30 - 10:00 Closing Circle

We will start off the evening in a circle to create connection with a sense of ease. We will use a blend of playful, empowering and "tension-releasing meditation and games. You will feel grounded, energized and safe ready to mix with others in a more relaxed way.

After we go through a set of simple rules, we engage in short one-on-one conversations prompted by meaningful questions, with as many women as you can "connect" in 2 hours. Confidentially select those you'd like to see again, and be notified of those who feel the same way about you!

We will end in a big circle acknowledging all who came and sharing something if we want to.

Snacks and hot/cold beverages will be provided.

= FACILITATOR =
This uniquely designed event is focused on providing ways in which women can find other women with whom they have authentic and deep connection. It will be facilitated by Roke Noir. Roke Noir is a professional life and relationship coach + diversity ambassador + mental wellness advocate and community organiser. Her focus is teaching how to face ourselves - be aware of one's true self, affirm those we are happy about and learn and grow being challenged by by the ones we don't. This will be Roke's 16th Speed Dating/Connecting event over the last 5 years, each being fully booked. Her style is that of connecting the participants with each other through focused face to face interactions prompted by insightful questions that lead to understanding self and others and making the right choices - guided by intuition and instinct. Roke is completing "Relationship Energy Study" with her teacher Lynda Caesare. This embodied knowledge would help her hold a safe, easy, fun, respectful, joyful and authentic space for intimacy within boundaries.

- THIS IS A SCENT, DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE EVENT. PLEASE RESPECT THAT.
- NO LATE ENTRY. DOORS CLOSE AT 7:15PM. PLEASE CONTACT ROKE BEFOREHAND IF
YOU KNOW YOU WILL BE LATE.
- WE CAN NOT COMMIT TO YOU MEETING EVERY PARTICIPANT. We will make sure that
you can meet as many women as possible within the scheduled time.
- Matches will be sent by Sunday June 19th, 4pm
- Doors open AT 7:00 pm & Closes at 7:15 pm.
- Event Starts at 7:15 PM and Ends at 10:00 pm.
- Please answer ALL QUESTIONS during registration. These answers will be shared with
others.
- Dress in layers, be comfortable and be yourself.
- Please wear shoes you can take off and put back easily.
