Braiding Wisdom Series: Sound your Depths/Developing a Practice of Dream Tending
Devoting a few minutes in the morning to focus on your dreams, emotions or initial impressions as you awaken eases the transition from sleeping to waking and gives you a glimpse into the source of your own depths. By jotting down some notes and sketches in your journal and tracking themes and symbols that reappear in your dreams, their meaning and wisdom begin to take shape.
In our time together around the circle, we shall explore various ways to encourage dream recall and record journal entries. We'll also discuss how to create a personalized ritual to incubate or call forth a dream on a particular concern or question. All are welcome from beginning to seasoned dreamers.
Ann Aswegan Rn, MS ed is a dream consultant and holistic health educator who has offered classes, retreats and workshops on dreams for the past 25 years. She is the author of "Awakening to the Song of Your Self: Revelations by Day and Dreams by Night." Copies of the books will be available for purchase.
