A class on basic ritual and how you can use it as a practice to grow personally and enrich your life overall. We will cover such things as history of ritual, use of colors, nature, chakras, energy and more. Ritual can be as simple as lighting a candle or as complex as a step by step plan of actions and intentions lasting a long period of time. It can be dancing around a fire, putting your feet into a lake or singing your purpose. This will be a fun class and very participatory.
Kate Heiber-Cobb has been a practicing Eco-Feminist, Eclectic Witch for 41 years. She was part of a coven for 20 some years and has practiced with other groups and solo over all of these years. She is also a Permaculturist and founded and coordinates the Madison Area Permaculture Guild. She has a small consulting and design business called Sustainability On Stilts, LLC and teaches regularly at Madison College and other locations around the region.
