Special Dates June join top Atlanta mixologist, Jerry Slater, as he hosts a series of intimate, informal cocktail classes in the Lounge at Emory Point. Sip delicious cocktails while you learn technique, history, and a little cocktail etiquette with Jerry. Each week will cover a different topic:

Classic Cocktails for Summer (June 11th )
Find your new signature drink for the sweltering summer months while learning the tricks and tips for making great cocktails at home! Jerry Slater will guide you through the history of cocktails and spirits in America, selecting the best tools for your home bar, as answer all the questions about mixing drinks youve always wanted to ask your favorite bartender. Drinks featured: Classic Daiquiri, Bramble, & Mint Julep.

Wet Hot American Whiskey (June 18th)

This class will give you a greater understanding of the varied styles of whiskey made here in the United States, from classic Kentucky bourbon to the unique new single malts of Seattle. Class begins with a guided tasting of three distinct whiskey styles, and finishes with instruction on how to make the quintessential American whiskey cocktails: The Manhattan & Old Fashioned.

New Orleans Master Class (June 25th)
The storied history of New Orleans is broad and rich. In addition to the amazing food and incomparable music scene, the city is definitive of Southern cocktail culture, both classic and contemporary. In this final session Jerry will focus on the cocktail traditions of New Orleans, and guide the group through making three of its defining classics: The Sazerac, The Vieux Carré, and The Ramos Gin Fizz.

$40 tickets include 3 drinks, light snacks, and instruction.
