Autumn Watercolor Painting
As artist Pamela Glasscock will attest, when the spring and summer blooms are over, there are many interesting things to look at in the plant world, and different palettes to explore. Well use seasonal seedpods, autumn leaves, and fruits as models for this watercolor workshop. Materials, including a variety of watercolor papers, will be provided. All levels of experience are welcome. Pamela's watercolors explore a botanical realism that combines the careful observation of plants with a focus on their expressive possibilities. Her work has been exhibited over the last thirty-five years in contemporary art galleries, museums, and botanical institutions. Recent e xhibitions include A Pepperwood Anthology in the spring of 2013, where thirty-five watercolor portraits of spring flowers at Pepperwood were displayed.
