No Mind - Latihan, in Brighton
2 meditations from the Indian master, Osho, rolled into one 2 hour session. A great opportunity to experience 2 of the more subtle and gentle release techniques.
No Mind Meditation is essentially Gibberish. You speak a language of your own making, ensuring that it is incomprehensible to both you and anyone else. Moving around the room you interact with the others gibbering and allowing your mind to express without making sense. As time passes so a deep relaxation starts to come over the mind, and sides of yourself which you would normally censor and keep repressed start to emerge through the gibberish. Its incredibly liberating. Approx 50 mins
Latihan is movement without thought. You start by sitting or standing and just feeling your body, not making stories about how your body feels, but simply feeling it. Just feeling. At some point you may feel a natural movement emerging through the body, a movement that arises without thoughts, and you just allow and follow this. Like Gibberish this technique allows deeper layers of non-censored expression to safely and gently emerge, without pushing. Very liberating. Approx 50 mins
Final Sharing. Share your experience with the others if you feel to, or simply remain with it.
After the session theres the chance to go for a tea locally in the Lanes if you fancy.
