New Albany Farm to Table Dinner
Join us for our second Farm to Table Dinner on the footbridge across the Tallahatchie River in the Park Along the River in the heart of downtown New Albany. The featured chefs this year are Chef Mitchell McCamey of Kermit's Outlaw Kitchen and Neon Pig and Pastry Chef Samantha Allen of Sugaree's Bakery. Chef McCamey will do what he does best and source local and regional proteins and produce to create a passed appetizer and a plated entrée complimented with an abundance of uniquely prepared produce. Chef McCamey will also pick wines to pair with the meal. Pasty Chef Allen will prepare fresh bread for the table and a specially created plated dessert using locally grown fruit to end the experience on a sweet note.
This year's event is a fundraiser for Anita Alef's New Albany High School culinary program to purchase a rotisserie to be used by her students to support ongoing fundraising efforts via selling chickens at the Biscuits and Jam Farmers' Market.
