SANCA Staff Show: How to Adult
How does one learn to be an adult? Trial and error? Dawson's Creek reruns? A dog-eared copy of All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten? If you're lucky, you got one of the coveted spots in Professor Doctor Director Alyssa's seminar, "How to Adult".
Your mom may have taught you to put your napkin in your lap, and your best friend may have helped you rehearse asking your first crush to the school dance, but who teaches you how to get your new roommates to wash their dishes? Or what to do when you look around for the person in charge and realize that it's you!
Adulting sounds so easy until you find yourself leaving the grocery store with Lucky Charms in one hand and kale in the other and no possible menu plan. Moving out on your own, finding a job, falling in love, losing people you care about, and finally finding your tribe are all adulting milestones you can learn more about in "How to Adult".
This exciting collaboration showcases an amazing variety of traditional and modern circus arts, including Aerial Trapeze,
Partner Acrobatics, Aerial Rope, Object Manipulation, Swinging Rings, Slack Rope, Duo Trapeze, German wheel, and more!
