WALKABOUT SUMMER INTENSIVE
Walkabout is offering a week-long theater training and performance intensive for artists of all disciplines. The week will include daily sessions focused on training physical presence and awareness through partner acrobatics, stilt-walking, object work, music-making, and performance creation. Each day will also include a dedicated session for participants to develop their individual practice and personal performance material.  Participants will use personal investigations as a way of meeting each other and confronting themselves.  Sessions will run from 2-10pm with a dinner break Monday through Friday, with an open showing of the participants work on Friday evening.

The material generated in this intensive will be included in our #WALKABOUTSUMMER 2016 production! Early Bird pricing available through May 15th. Presented in partnership with the Chicago Performance Lab, Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Chicago.
