Bakerloo Theater Project: Candida
Bakerloo will explore the challenges faced by men and women both at war and at home and how these experience shape 'fighting' individuals. The words of Shakespeare and Shaw will be used to examine war, gender roles, and memory all with the contemporary, deeply emotional language of theatre Bakerloo audiences have come to expect.
Candida, updated for contemporary audiences, will explore seemingly simple gender cliches and examine the roles of men and women in each other's lives.
