Grow the Gorge Kick-off Fundraiser
Grow the Gorge is the annual fundraising campaign of the Gorge Grown Food Network. We are kicking off this month long campaign on JULY 1st, 4-7pm at the funky, historic Sunshine Mill in The Dalles with luscious Quenett wines, tasty, local hors d'oeuvres, live music by mandolin extraordinaire Kerry Williams, a tour of the old mill, and even bocce ball outside! Come mix & mingle with Gorge Grown staff and board to learn more about our bold vision for a sustainable, healthy, equitable food system.
Your ticket entitles you to one free drink, appetizers, & music. A cash bar is available if you want to drink more!
Anne Kelly of Kelly Wheat will be on hand to show how she mills her locally-grown flour in the Sunshine Mill, as well as selling her famous pancake mix!
Menu includes:
-Herbed Mtn. Shadow beef meatballs
-Flash-grilled Outback Farms asparagus
-Kale & arugula pesto crostinis
-Idiot's Grace organic cherries
-Kelly Wheat mini pancakes with local preserves
Kids are welcome & free if under 12!
Leave the dogs at home please!
