Meet Your Maker: An evening with Kathy Haigh-Trodden of Second Chance Farm
Meet Your Maker is an opportunity to spend an evening up close and personal with some of the most creative food producers we know. One Saturday evening each month, we host friends who make delicious things to eat and drink, who treat their space and creatures well, and who are a lot of fun to hang out with. In our intimate kitchen space, Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame cooks a dinner incorporating and accompanying the producer's products, and we all dine together communally and sumptuously.
We invite you to join us at the table on Saturday, May 21. We'll be dining with Kathy Haigh-Trodden. Kathy and her husband Liam raise heritage pigs on their farm in the western Maine mountains. Liam's approach to pasture-raising their animals organically and ethically have their origins in the farm in Ireland where he was born and raised.
Rosemont Chef Bryan Dame will prepare a fantastic four-course meal. Each dish will incorporate ingredients from Second Chance Farm, and we'll be serving outstanding wines selected to match the meal.
