Fall Farm to Feast
Carl Blake is coming down from Missouri to teach a class on roasting a rare Iowa Swabian Hall pig in his creation, the American Hot Box (8 AM - $40, includes breakfast and lunch). We will prepare and serve this to a limited number of patrons, along side the veggies we've grown at Mill Village Community Garden & Food Park (6 PM - $75). After dinner, Carl will speak about being a computer programmer turned sustainable pig farmer. Then, we will enjoy some pickin' 'round the bon fire with singer-songwriters, V.k. Spencer, Eric Erdman Music, Robert Bubba Hall, and Heather Luttrell!
