The Wizard of Oz

The Wizard of Oz is the classic tale of Dorothy Gale, a Kansas farm girl who dreams of finding a place where she and her beloved dog, Toto, can belong. During a fierce tornado, they are transported to a land 'beyond the rainbow' where she meets an array of magical characters. These include a Scarecrow, a Tinman, and a Cowardly Lion, as well as two Witches, one lovely and sweet, the other ugly and horrible, and a Wizard who is both frightening and wonderful. After their travels down a Yellow Brick Road to the Land of Oz, and the defeat of the Wicked Witch of the West, Dorothy and her friends are rewarded by the Wonderful Wizard of Oz with their hearts' desires - and Dorothy learns that there is no place like home.
