Savage in Limbo
Three friends in their early 30s meet up in their neighborhood bar, stuck in lives that are going nowhere fast. They're all anxious for "something better," but at what cost to everything they know?
This deliciously bold, poetic and rarely produced comedy is by John Patrick Shanley, an icon of the American theater. "Savage in Limbo," one of his early plays, is an experimental farce infused with Shanley's respect for his characters and their life-shattering dilemmas.
Featuring company member Abbey Smith; directed by artistic director Will Crouse
"Savage in Limbo" opens at Rivendell Theatre (5779 N Ridge, Chicago) on June 13th through July 17th
