Our seventh season kicks off with the annual Whim WHim Choreographic Shindig. This unique, dancer-curated program supports emerging choreographic talent from around the world and empowers our dancers by placing them at the helm of the curatorial process. The three works were selected through a competitive application and review process and all choreographers are new to Whim WHim. The first annual Choreographic Shindig, in 2015, was a runaway hit, with sold out shows, stunning critical acclaim, and glowing audience feedback. The Seattle Times said, the dancers were invited to select three choreographers (out of nearly 100 who applied) to set work on them. They chose brilliantly.
