Intermediate Spinning
-WINDRUSH FIBER SCHOOL-
Intermediate Spinning | Sunday, April 24 | 2-5pm
Learn about wool in the fleece, washing and carding wool, and how the fleece from particular varieties of sheep create yarns with specific qualities. Begin to explore how to match your handspun yarn to your knitting projects.
Learn how to ply to create 2-ply or 3-ply yarns, and then how to match these yarns to patterns you can't wait to knit. Practice, practice, practice, and practice spinning. For a break, walk out to feed the sheep and meet the guard llamas. In the front pasture, we can play with the new goat kids, four of them cuter than cute!
$75 plus a $20 materials fee
