Pop Up Kitchen with Brooke McLaughlin
Our Pop Up Kitchen dinners feature great food cooked with heart by your own friends and neighbors (and lots of wine, of course). A truly unique experience in the Back Room at South!
This month's home chef, Brooke McLaughlin is a born and bred Anchorage girl who loves cooking and eating great food. Between hosting dinner parties, slipping on her running shoes, selling real estate with The Summit Group and being a momma, she dreams of traveling to far off places to enjoy culinary adventures with her husband. For now, spare time is spent cooking at her Thermador, devouring cookbooks and exploring her love for tacos.
Brooke's menu for the evening:
- fire roasted salsa and guacamole with chips
- elote
- ceviche
- smoked chicken enchiladas with rice
- carnitas tostada with pineapple salsa, pickled red onion and smashed black beans
- carne asada tacos with salsa verde
- tres leches cake with strawberries
