May FamJams!
Mother's Day Sunday Morning Series May 8, 15, 22 and 29, 10-11am
Facilitated by Elementary & Early Childhood Music Specialist Kaya Martínez
FamJams are designed for young music lovers and a primary caretaker to explore singing, moving, playing and creating together in a small group setting. All sessions integrate hand percussion and time is allowed for exploration and Q&A. Selected repertoire emphasizes positive vibrations drawn from the Crescent City soundscape, the African diaspora and other global soundstreams. We strive to make these offerings as engaging for the wee ones as for the grown folks. Come prepared to participate actively with your child, laugh, learn and meet other parents finding new ways to bring music making into family life.
You are also invited to visit www.musicollaborative.org for more details. You can also visit facebook.com/musicollaborative to view photos from recent sessions. Please contact us at info@musicollaborative.org or call 504-942-7606 if you have any questions.
This session is FREE thanks to the generous sponsorship of the good folks at Drewstunes.org so we ask that if you register and are unable to come for some reason we ask that you call us right away at 504-942-7606 so that we can give your sponsored spot to another deserving family. Gratitude.
