RBCC Players Present The Pirates of Penzance
Lovably zany and filled with hummable tunes, The Pirates of Penzance has all the ingredients for the perfect farce: a damsel in distress, a sexy pirate king, an adorably dopey Major-General, and a series of delightfully absurd mix-ups. Still one of Gilbert and Sullivan's most loved shows, this comic opera follows young pirate's apprentice Frederic who's about to turn 21 and complete his term of servitude. Only one snag: He was born on a leap year, which means he's technically only had five birthdays to date -- and won't have his 21st until he's 84. Will he ever be free?
