Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour
Sights, scents and mellifluous sounds will abound, as Arts & Humanities Bainbridge pays A Musical Tribute to Gardens in this years Bainbridge In Bloom Garden Tour, June 4-5.
Now in its 28th year, this premiere annual event will showcase five island gardens inspired by settings in France, Japan and other beautiful locales, and the hardworking home gardeners.
Each setting offers a story personal to the gardener, and a lush mix of native and exotic plants set on the grounds of inviting island homes.
The five featured gardens will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with music beginning at 10 a.m. and running through afternoons end.
Advance general admission for the self-drive tour (except for one garden, with access provided by shuttle due to parking restrictions) is $35 for one day, $60 for both days, available at www.AHBainbridge.org, through BrownPaperTickets.com.
