A Tender Thing - A Reading
This is an extraordinary and original reworking of Shakespeare's great love story. In Ben Power's new version of "Romeo and Juliet" - written for the RSC - Shakespeare's language resonates through the story of an older couple whose lifetime of love comes under threat. Re-imagining some of Shakespeare's greatest poetry with an uncommon boldness, "A Tender Thing" is an elegiac yet ultimatley hopeful account of the depth and power of the capacity for love.
