Sapience Dance Collective is pleased to present the 3rd annual CONVERGE Dance Festival. Seven northwest choreographers have each created ten-minute modern dance works and have collaborated with a diverse array of musicians to create original sound scores. Thirty professional Seattle based dancers will execute lush, athletic, and quirky movement unique to each choreographer.

The festival features work by: Cyrus Khambatta, Lauren Linder, Philippa Myler, Laura Beth Rodriguez, Sarah Seder, Xaviera Vandermay, and Amy Weaver.

CONVERGE is a modern dance festival produced by Sapience Dance Collective in Seattle. Sapience Dance Collective is a professional dance company creating original work in the Northwest. Founded in 2008 the two Co-directors and artists (Sarah Seder, and Amy Weaver) seek to produce new work that inspires, builds community, and addresses their highest artistic concerns.

Sapience Dance Collective is a recipient of 4 Culture, and is an Associated Program of Shunpike. Shunpike is a501(c)(3) non-profit art service organization whose mission is to strengthen the Seattle arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed.
