Walk-around Food and Wine Pairing Event
Le vignbole de Bordeaux have intrigued wine connoisseurs and collectors for centuries. This unique tasting event will feature a dozen of Bordeaux's top quality wine selections at value prices from numerous producers. Tasting guidance and education for the evening will be led by Special Guest Celine della Ventura, Northeast Sales Manager for Compagnie Médocaine des Grands Crus, one of the most respected merchants in the Bordeaux wine trade.
At this event, you will learn the difference of flavor profiles between Left Bank and Right Bank red Bordeaux wines, how the white wines of Bordeaux are a great match to the seafood of Nantucket and what makes the dessert wines of Bordeaux well worth the expense. You will gain a renewed appreciation for a classic wine region that is often over-shadowed by its modern day New World contemporaries.
Gourmet bites by Chef Greg will be paired with each of four designated wine stations, including white wines, red wines and dessert wines of Bordeaux.
Co-hosted by Épernay Wine & Spirits, their Sommelier Team will be on hand and readily available to answer any questions and help guests purchase any of the wine selections from the evening.
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
