Taming of the Shrew
The award-winning Marin School of the Arts Theatre Department proudly presents William Shakespeare's  The Taming of the Shrew.  This comic battle of the sexes plays out with classic stock characters from the commedia dell'arte, including: innocent lovers, braggart soldiers, befuddled parents, impertinent servants, tricksters and of coursea shrewish woman. MSA students are embracing Shakespeares text and literally diving into the broad physicality of this often outrageous play.

The Taming of the Shrew opens Friday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at the Marin School of the Arts at Novato High School, 625 Arthur Street in Novato. The show runs Friday and Saturday,. April 22 and 23 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, April 24 at 2:00 PM.  It also runs Thursday and Friday, April 28 and 29 at 7:00. Tickets not sold online will be available at the door.  It is strongly recommended to purchase tickets online at www.brownpapertickets.com or by calling (800) 838-3006. Admission is $8 for students and seniors, $25 for reserved seats and $15 for general seating.
