Astrological Vitality: Herbal and Essential Oil Remedies for Your Sun Sign
The Sun (or your "sun sign") in the natal chart represents your spirit and the seasonal, earth-based vitality you were born with. With Nicholas Culpeper's work on sympathy and antipathy, we know that signs are maintained by their likes, and balanced with help from their opposites. We will discuss the herbal remedies, exercises and essential oils likened to each sign and the opposites that will help to balance.
Jaysen Paulson is a Portland-based queer astrologer, herbalist and founder of the Portland School of Astrology. His work with Cosmophilia includes the marriage of astrology and herbal medicine with health and wellness, producing a line of Astrological Herbals, teas and sprays. JayPs work has been featured at astrology and plant medicine conferences, and the Portland Art Museum. He currently sees astrology clients in his Hollywood District office and is writing a book titled Plants & Planets: Herbal Medicine, Flower Essences and Astrology.
