HABC // SDC Fancy as F*@& Dinner
During a recent sit down for lunch at the new kitchen in the Half Acre Tap Room, one of us yelled out, "Let's make it rain truffles!"
And our Fancy as F*@& dinner was born. Five courses. Unlimited beer. Ingredients that will make your mouth drool and that our chefs don't typically think to work with. Think ramps, truffles, lobster and food with Italian and French words. Half the courses will be the work of the kitchen team at Half Acre, and half will be the work of the team from Sunday Dinner Club. We'll circle back around and rock out with dessert as one big group.
Let's look at the menu:
First Course: Baume'-cured Foie Gras, Seeded Lovash, Kumquat Preserve, Marcona Almonds,
and Lemon Basil
Second Course: Ribeye Beef Tartar with Ramp Jam, Farm Egg Yolk, and Porcini Potato Chips
Pasta Course: Lobster Agnolotti with Truffle Beurre Blanc
Main Course: Pistachio Crusted Lamb Chops with Fresh Mint and Olive Fregola
Dessert: Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Napoleon with Goat Cheese Caramel Gelato
We'll have some fancy Half Acre beers from the archives and also unreleased to the general public to pair with these fancy dishes.
