Smoke Break is happy to host the Quit Your Day Job Tour. We are stepping into the Cairo Alehouse for the night. So, if you've been wanting to come back without the smoke of the hookah lounge, this is your opportunity.
Quit Your Day Job:
JC Ratliff - JC is a Knoxville, TN based comedian and producer of comedy shows. His comedy combines social commentary and rapid-fire vitriolic rants, re-branding the solemn as absurd along the way. JC has toured extensively throughout the South East, first beside Matt Ward and Grady Ray in the 2012 Quit Your Day Job Comedy Tour and later as one-half of the Deadbeats of Comedy, a partnership he shares with Bubbs Harris (Pensacola, FL). An avid podcaster for many years, he is the co-host of The Bones Lair Comedy Podcast and creator of The Bones Lair Comedy Mix Tape series, an innovative recording and self-promotion service for budding independent comedians. JCs producer credits include Spike Collar Comedy, Old City Comedy, and the 2015 Old City Comedy Competition. He has performed at the 2014 and 2015 Scruffy City Comedy Festivals and BLANKfest. JC has opened for comics such as Derek Sheen, Tim Northern, Ahmed Bharoocha, Chad Riden, Carlos Valencia, Ryan Singer, Krish Mohan, Shane Mauss, Andrew Andrist, Derek Sheen and Junior Stopka. He was named Knoxvilles Finest Comedian 2015 by BLANK Magazine shortly before the June release of his debut album Hope Is A Virus (available now on iTunes). JC is currently a part of the 2015 Quit Your Day Job Comedy Tour this spring alongside John Gibson.
John Gibson:
Originally born in Ohio, this transplanted southerner has a style all his own. From his stories of growing up with his family to his hilarious observations about late night TV and drinking adventures at three in the morning, this comedian will draw you into his world and have you begging for more. John has toured all over the southeast with multiple comedians including his most recent tour with Carlos Valencia. Always striving for more, John has the desire to one day take over the hosting gig on The Tonight Show (that's a dream from when he was 5 years old).
