AWIS Palo Alto has invited Dawa Gail Lorien, PhD to inspire you and help you cultivate compassion for yourselves, and those around you - at home, at work, and in every aspect of your lives.
Dawa has a PhD in Anthropology and has been a student of Buddhist Meditation and Dzogchen for over 35 years. A Certified Instructor in Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) at the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCare), Stanford University, Dawa's lifes objective is a seamless integration of present awareness, mindfulness and compassion into daily life balancing a contemplative retreat life with family and work.
After this workshop, you will: - Appreciate how a compassionate attitude in the workplace can be a strength in leadership and relationships - Understand how to cultivate compassion in every aspect of your life. - Learn how to develop effective practices for work-life balance.
