Into the Woods
One of Stephen Sondheim's most popular works, INTO THE WOODS is an adult's perspective on the timeless stories of classic fairy tales. As all the stories' characters meet up in the woods while looking for their true destinies, they find that happily ever after may not actually last all that long.
With the piercing wit and sharp insight he is known for, Sondheim has created a new musical theater classic: a tale of community and identity filled with glorious music and heartbreaking choices. Into the Woods dares to ask what happens to our children after they take to heart the stories we have told them.
