Live Roller Derby: Spring Roll
To celebrate the first day of Spring, we're announcing our next public double header: Spring Roll! We're super excited to be hosting our round of Tier 3 South Region British Championships and two bouts of top roller derby :)
*** WHERE ***
Join us at Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre! Our regular venue back home in Bath is currently being refurbished, so we'd like to say a huge thanks to Wiltshire Roller Derby for being cool with us encroaching on their turf :D
Located close to Swindon train station, with its own café / bar all bouts will take place in the main Sports Hall. There's banked seating, so you're guaranteed a great view of the action :)
We'll be looking into booking a supporters' coach from Bath, so if you'd be interested in this, do let us know!
*** FIRST BOUT ***
In our opening bout, Bath Spartans come up against the Kent Roller Girls. (First Whistle 2pm.)
*** SECOND BOUT ***
In our second bout of the day, Surrey Roller Girls clash with Plymouth City Roller Derby (First Whistle 4.20pm.)
*** EXTRA FUN ***
In addition to these two family friendly bouts, we'll also have stalls for you to browse, massages, a brilliant raffle, tempting charity cake stall and some extra special half time entertainment...
*** TICKETS ***
Tickets will shortly be available from Brown Paper Tickets for £6 + booking fee. BATH BOUTS SELL OUT! If we do have any tickets left by bout day, you can risk buying them on the door (£8).
Kids under 12 are free with an accompanying adult, but do require a ticket so we can keep track of numbers (also available from Brown Paper Tickets).
