The Tied House Film Festival was such a hit in its inaugural year that it's returning for a second round. For the only film festival devoted to the art of drinking, Chicago Filmmakers and Drinking and Writing Theater are commissioning new short films all loosely based on the five stages of intoxication: euphoria, excitement, confusion, stupor, and coma. The films may not be about alcohol intoxication per se, but will explore the state of intoxication however personally defined. Visit our website to see the full line-up in late May.
The screening will take place on June 9 at the Drinking & Writing Theater at Haymarket Pub & Brewery, 737 W. Randolph St. Tickets are $8. Available at www.drinkingandwriting.com
